What is LemonSugar Ai?
A study companion. You bring a question, Sugar helps you understand it, gives you a similar one to try yourself, and brings back the things you missed so you can practice them before a test.
Do I have to choose an AI model?
No. Sugar picks for you. You just ask your question.
Is my data private?
Your chats and saved cards are private to your account. We ask the AI providers we use not to train on your messages where they offer that setting. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How much can I ask each week?
Lo-Fi (free) gives you 10 a week, shared between chat and study tools like quizzes and flashcards. The week resets Monday 00:00 UTC — the app shows that in your own local time. If you haven't used Sugar for the 30 days before a week starts, that week has 5, then it goes back to 10. Accounts made before Sept 24, 2026 keep 20 a week (5 after a break). Thrifty has no weekly message limit, and adds photo and file uploads, mock exams, test plans and Teach-back.
What happens when I run out?
On Lo-Fi you wait for the Monday reset. Your saved cards and chats stay. Thrifty ($99 a year) removes the weekly limit. Students under 18 need a parent to buy it.
What happens to my saved cards on the free plan?
Your 15 newest saved cards keep coming back for review. Older ones are kept, never deleted, and come back if you move to Thrifty.
How do I cancel Thrifty?
Open the Me tab, then Plan, and tap Cancel plan. You keep Thrifty until the end of the period you already paid for, and it won't renew.
I think Sugar got something wrong. What do I do?
