You're done for today. Misses come back tomorrow.
Finishing tonight and remembering next week are two different problems. The night ends on time — the thing you got wrong is the only part that comes back.
Homework gets finished and then quietly forgotten.
You get stuck on question seven, someone unsticks you, the sheet gets handed in. Three weeks later the same idea shows up on a test and it's brand new again. Nothing went wrong that night — nothing came back either.
The fix isn't more homework. It's a short, specific return: the exact thing you missed, in your words, a day or two later, when it's just started to fade.
The miss, named in plain words.
A saved miss isn't the whole problem and it isn't a topic label. It's the small specific thing that went wrong — the reason you lost the mark.
- Forgot to flip the sign when dividing
- Used diameter instead of radius
- Mixed up mitosis and meiosis stages
Short enough to read in a second, specific enough to practise.
A few cards, on the day they matter.
- 01
You miss something tonight
A quiz answer, a teach-back gap, a step you needed help with. It gets saved by name — you don't have to tag anything.
- 02
The night still ends
Nothing is added to tonight. You get You're done for today, and the miss is scheduled instead of piled on.
- 03
It comes back in Practice
Tomorrow's Today screen shows a small set — a handful of cards, a few minutes. Only what's actually due.
- 04
Right answers back off, wrong ones stay close
Get it solid and the gap widens: days, then a week, then longer. Get it wrong and it returns sooner. Before a test date, the misses tied to that class come back on purpose.
No streak to protect.
There are no points, no levels and no counter that punishes you for a night off. Skip a day and nothing is lost — the cards that were due are simply still due, and the set stays small.
You can also tell it a card isn't worth keeping. Anything you opt out of stops coming back, and everything you saved on purpose stays in Saved by me, separate from what Sugar remembered on its own.
Can something bring back problems I got wrong tomorrow?
Yes — that's what LemonSugar Ai does. When you get something wrong during homework, a quiz or a teach-back, it saves the specific miss in plain language rather than the whole question. The next day, Practice shows only what's due: a few cards, a few minutes. Answer well and it returns further apart; answer wrong and it comes back sooner, and anything tied to an upcoming test returns before that date. Tonight still ends with You're done for today — the return is scheduled, not stacked onto the evening.
End tonight. Keep what you learned.
Bring the problem you're stuck on. The part you miss will find you again on its own.
